Our story
At first, we weren't an organization.
We were just enthusiasts.
Volunteers in the Epitanime association, giving our time, organizing, learning, experiencing events from the inside. Very quickly, an obvious truth emerged: what we loved was not just playing... it was creating moments.
So we took a gamble.
To create something that truly reflects us.
This is how Smash & Flames was born. An event designed to bring together: gaming, sharing, a warm atmosphere... and a true human experience. Initially, it was about multigaming. But very quickly, a community stood out: that of Super Smash Bros.
We followed that energy.
Events unfolded, the community grew, and a frustration emerged: too many talented players remained in the shadows. So we decided to change the rules of the game.
We createdthe Wanted.
A different format. A stage for those we hadn't seen yet. A way to say:“we see you, and you deserve your place.”
What was just a concept became an appointment. Then a series. Then a pillar.
And then cameSuper Smash Bros Ultimate.
That's when everything changed.
With Ultimate Wanted 1, we reached a new level. More people. More energy. More eyes turned towards us. The scene has become structured, partners have arrived, and France has started to exist even more strongly on the international stage.
But deep down, nothing has changed.
We still do this for the same reason: to create moments that matter.
Our Values
What we build is not just based on events.
It is based on people.
We only work with enthusiasts. Not by chance, but by conviction. Because a person who loves what they do doesn't just do 'the job'... they invest themselves, they propose, they elevate the entire project.
But above all, we defend a simple idea:the game is a meeting ground.
Here, no matter your level, your background, your origin, your identity.
You can come to win. You can come to watch. You can come just to be there.
And you should feel at home.
We want events where a tryharder can give it their all in a tournament, while next to them, someone is discovering the scene for the first time... and has an amazing day.
We want competition, yes.
But never at the expense of respect.
Hate, exclusion, contempt — they have no place here.
What we want is sharing, kindness, and above all… good humor.
Always.
Our future ambitions
We don't plan to stop there.
What we want today is to build something sustainable. A real community, vibrant, connected, that exists both online and offline. To continue creating events, bringing people together, making it resonate.
But also to go further.
We want to become a springboard.
Help the talents of tomorrow to emerge. Support them, give them resources, help them move, show themselves, cross milestones. And, tomorrow, see them sign with major organizations.
We also want to grow internally.
Behind every event, there are committed, loyal, passionate people. And our ambition is also to give back what they give. Create opportunities. Structure. Professionalize.
